Message(s)

Welcome to AtPACdb public release Alpha 3

[11/1/2005] A. thaliana data completed. GO information will be loaded on Nov 9th.

[9/20/2005] AtPACdb moved to a new server. Please note that the AtPACdb URLS have not changed.

Overview

AtPACdb is a database of three prime (3') mRNA processing sites for Arabidopsis thaliana. 3' processing sites are also called poly-adenylation cleavage sites (or PAC sites) because they are the location that the mRNA is cleaved and a 3' polyA tail is added for most eukaryotic mRNAs. The location of these sites determines the length of the 3' untranslated region (3' UTR) of the mRNA transcript.
